Recent ActivityMATHCOUNTS is an after school math enrichment program run at SMS from November through February of each school year. Coach and 8th grade math teacher Patrick Lynch provides a fun and different approach to learning mathematics in this free after school program. All students at SMS are encouraged to participate, and the top five students compete in regional and state, and YES, even national competitions! Check out our 2009-2010 team with their 1st place regional trophies. The team also won a first ever 3rd in STATE. WoW! What fun. Congratulations to 2nd in state individual finisher Christoper O'Donnell, who was part of Idaho's 2010 state team!
